Cameron Smith Wins the 150th Open Championship

The 150th Open Championship at the Old Course at St Andrews culminated in a thrilling finish as Cameron Smith surged to victory. The 28-year-old Australian produced one of the most dominant performances in recent Open history, carding a final round of 64 to finish on 20 under par, four strokes ahead of playing partner Rory McIlroy.

Smith's victory was his first major championship and the biggest win of his career. He became the first Australian to win the Open since Greg Norman in 1993.

Tiger Woods Finishes Six Over Par

Tiger Woods struggled throughout the week at St Andrews, finishing on six over par after carding a final round of 78. It was the first time Woods had finished over par in an Open Championship since 2002.

Woods' performance will be a concern to his fans, as he continues to struggle with his form since returning from a serious car accident in February 2021.

Royal Troon to Host 2024 Open Championship

The 152nd Open Championship will be held at Royal Troon in Scotland in 2024. The course will be hosting the Open for the ninth time, having previously hosted the event in 1923, 1950, 1962, 1973, 1982, 1989, 1997, and 2004.

Royal Troon is one of the most challenging courses on the Open rota, and it is sure to provide a stern test for the world's best golfers.
