Police Investigate Motive Behind Fatal Shooting

A man was shot dead in Berlin's Neukölln district on Tuesday evening, the police announced. According to initial findings, shots were fired from a passing car.

According to police, the incident occurred around 8:30 pm on Hermannstraße. The victim, a 42-year-old German man, was hit by several bullets and died at the scene despite emergency medical treatment.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and seeing a dark-colored car speeding away from the scene.

The police have launched a homicide investigation and are searching for the perpetrators.

The motive for the crime is still unclear. According to the police, the victim was known to them but had no known connection to organized crime.
